The main inspiration for the majority of my art derives from fables, myths, songs, and stories. I have a BFA in 2D Animation and my focus was on story-boarding which has since been the format for much of my work with the painting depicting one moment of a story.

Paintings

This collection consists of work inspired by religious icons, stories derived from classical, country, and rock music, as well as scenes from popular novels.

Wobble Series

Inspired by two of my favorite stories and a favorite childhood toy, I began working on my Wobble series several years ago with sketches. In 2016 I fleshed out the first part of the series (6 works) and officially started to paint "Alice in Wobbleland". Soon to follow - "The Wobbles of OZ".

Other

The work shown here comes from my many years of working in production design for a major concert venue creating works from hand-painted signage to large light boxes. Also during these years I designed and constructed many sets and props for local New Orleans theatre.
